The ability to raise funds through special events and donations is critical to the future of our agency. We are hopeful that everyone involved with North East will contribute in some way to our fundraising efforts.

Financial challenges posed by the decreasing New York State Budget for persons with special needs and Medicaid cuts continue to concern our agency. Donations and fundraising events are critical to our future as we are committed to maintain quality and promote growth.

Sponsorship Opportunities

Sponsorship Fund

North East is committed to providing scholarship dollars to needy families. This year for our summer camp program alone, we awarded almost $4,000.00 in scholarship dollars. Scholarship donations are granted to individuals who apply and demonstrate a need for financial assistance. Sponsor benefits vary depending on the size of the donation.

Program Sponsorship

We are always interested in starting new programs. If you would like to donate funds or equipment to a new and innovative program, we have a list of projects we are waiting to introduce. We are currently seeking funds to start a photography club, enhance our horticultural program and initiate a newsletter/yearbook committee. Sponsors receive mention in our program brochure which is distributed to 1000 Westchester residents.

Event Sponsorships

North East welcomes community sponsored events designed to raise funds and awareness for North East. We offer the following events at this time however, we are open to new ideas from sponsors.

Our annual gala event, which is a dinner dance and silent auction, offers a variety of sponsorship opportunities from journal ads to individual and corporate packages. In addition to sponsorship, local businesses are solicited to donate goods and services to our silent auction to enhance our fundraising capabilities. Sponsors receive visibility at the event which may result in new business and consumer loyalty.

Sponsorship of North East Public Relations Materials

We are seeking sponsors for our agency newsletter, promotional video and new brochure. Attach your name to a well-known local charity that has a presence in twelve communities. Sponsors are prominently displayed on the finished product.

In-kind Donations

In-kind donations offer budget relief and the opportunity to enhance program content. Sponsorship benefits are available for donations of various program supplies, food, paper goods, printing and copying services, raffle prizes, photography services and equipment, admission to special events, restaurant discounts and gift certificates.
